CLEFT Musical Evening
On a perfect early summer’s evening CLEFT held their first Musical Evening in the grounds of a beautiful old vicarage in the village of Writtle. Nearly 70 guests enjoyed wine and canapés before being entertained by three eminent musicians - Bernard Gregor-Smith (cellist), Giles Francis (violinist) and Yoland Wrigley (pianist).
A series of paintings capturing the essence of the English countryside, were produced especially for this event, by artist Joy Graham, who donated them to CLEFT for sale on the evening.
The evening concluded with a light supper enjoyed by all.
CLEFT would like to thank everybody involved in making this a very successful evening, raising funds for the charity. We hope to continue the success of the event with a further musical evening in February 2015.
