Ride for CLEFT on Sunday 30th July 2017
Ride London is a two day festival of cycling - a true legacy of the 2012 Games. Developed by the Mayor of London and his agencies, Ride London will be another world-class festival of cycling, on Sunday 30th July 2017.
You can lead out the greats when you take on a cycling challenge like no other. Just hours before the world’s top cyclists race the Ride London Classic, 20,000 cyclists will have the chance to cycle a modified version of the London 2012 Olympic Road Race in the RideLondon Surrey 100 race.
This event is a perfect ride for club & recreational cyclists. Slower cyclists can enjoy a challenging ride while faster riders will relish the opportunity to pit themselves against the country’s top amateurs. As well as an opportunity to take on a personal challenge in completing the course, you can also raise funds for CLEFT.
RideLondon Surrey 100 offers a unique opportunity to become part of cycling history celebrating the legacy for cycling created by London 2012. It will start in the new Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, follow the closed roads through the capital and onto Surrey’s stunning country roads and hills finishing in central London. With leg-testing climbs and a route recently made famous by the world’s best cyclists, this promises to be truly spectacular event for all involved.
The event will start in wave starts between 06:00 and 08:00 on Sunday 30th July 2017. Participants will be seeded, with their starting position indicative of ability and fitness, to deliver a safe and enjoyable event for all. All participants will need to be able to finish the 100 miles within around 9 hours in order to finish safely in advance of the RideLondon Classic finish and ride safely within a large group.
Entrants must be 18 and over.
