Our second wine tasting event will be led again by South African wine specialist, Gerhard Perold of Perold Wine Cellar. Gerhard has a great heritage connection within the South African wine industry and brings many years of expertise and knowledge to the experience.

What does your ticket price include?

3 x 750ml bottles of wine (1 sparkling, 1 red and 1 white) - please note that these wines are different to the ones from the November tasting.

2 Cheeses (80g-150g per cheese)

1 bar of chocolate

1.5-2 hour tasting session

Ticket information

Ticket price: £55.40. Two people may attend the wine tasting per ticket bought.

Gerhard is donating his time and expertise to us and £5 of the ticket price is being donated to CLEFT.

Please note that the last date to buy tickets is 5pm on Friday 5th February so that we can ensure there is enough time to get your wine to you in time for the event.

A note about deliveries

By purchasing a ticket, you consent to CLEFT passing your name and email address to Perold Wine Cellar so they can contact you to send out your wine, cheese and chocolate. Perold Wine Cellar's Privacy Policy is available to read in full on their website.

We have learnt some valuable lessons from our first wine tasting event! Deliveries will be sent out sooner by DHL to allow time for any deliveries to be chased up or in the worse case, for a new delivery to be sent out. Please note that deliveries are taking longer at the moment but we will do everything we can to ensure you receive your wine in plenty of time.

Some organisational information

Once you have bought your ticket, you will be emailed a ticket confirmation - this will come from TapSimple which is the name of the platform provider that we use.

We advise you to log on at least 5 minutes before the event start time. The platform supports all PCs and laptops (Android and Apple) but not phones or tablets.

We welcome your thoughts and comments throughout the evening and you will be able to ask Gerhard questions; we just ask all participants to stay on 'MUTE' until you want to speak to minimise echo and background noise.

Finally, you will need a bottle opener, some glasses, and be prepared to relax and enjoy the evening!
