A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step.

On the 21st May, the CLEFT trustees agreed to take part in their very own challenge. As we have been unable to visit any of the countries where we carry out our important work at the moment, the trustees decided instead to walk, run or cycle the distance between Central London and Dhaka, Bangladesh via Sulaimania in the Kurdish region of Iraq.

This was a huge undertaking, requiring commitment from the team and for some healthy competition, a team of CLEFT Supporters took on the challenge to race us there.

Total distance - 6,679miles/ 10,748km

We would also like to thank all those who took part in this. Your commitment and team spirit has been hugely appreciated in such a challenging year.
