Could you give up chocolate for a month to help support our dental care project in Bangladesh?
Dental hygiene is important for everyone, but for children born with clefts, having healthy teeth is particularly important. Teeth can grow in unusual places and so sometimes teeth can be difficult or even painful to access.
In places like Bangladesh, money can be so tight that some parents are unable to afford even basic items like toothbrushes and toothpaste.
By providing basic items like these, as well as information on how to care for teeth and eat a healthier diet, the CLEFT team in Bangladesh is preventing this problem from occurring before it happens.
So this October, we are setting you the challenge to give up chocolate and sweets, and asking if you could donate the money you would have spent on confectionary to CLEFT to support the dental care we provide to children born with clefts in Bangladesh?
By pledging to donate to CLEFT, you can make a huge difference to the lives of children born with clefts.
