Mount Kilimanjaro with it’s three volcanic cones, “Kibo”, “Mawenzi” and “Shira”, is a dormant volcano in Tanzinia. Climbing Kilimanjaro is high on the list of many an adventure seeker – and with good reason!
It is the highest mountain in Africa, and the highest standalone mountain in the world. It reaches up about 4,900 metres from its base, and stands at 5,895 metres above sea-level. The mountain is part of the Kilimanjaro National Park and is an incredible place to see and experience.
Now CLEFT, with the help of Yellow Zebra Safari’s, is offering you the chance to climb Mt Kilimanjaro and take on this incredible challenge whilst also helping to raise vital funds to support children born with clefts.
The trip will start on the 18th of October 2019, and will take 10 days. During the ascent you’ll walk amongst lush montane forest and ancient lava formations to reach the glacial peak before descending through tropical rainforest alive with birdsong, all with incredible views of the vast African planes below.

So you’ll be in very safe and experienced hands, ensuring that this really is the trip of a lifetime and one that you’ll never forget!
WHAT’S INCLUDED IN THE PRICE?
The price of the trip is £3900 and includes Return economy flights from London to Kilimanjaro International Airport, local transfers, accommodation and all meals excluding lunch and dinner on final day. (Under 16’s receive a £500 overall reduction).
You can pay in three instalments during 2019, so for now you only have to pay £400 to register.
How much will I raise for CLeft?
Of the total cost of the trip, at least £1000 will go directly to CLEFT.
