We know that fundraising whilst maintaining social distancing might be a bit tricky! Getting together with your friends and family by holding a coffee morning online is one way to catch up with the people you care about without having to leave your home. It is a really easy way to introduce new people to CLEFT and raise some money too.

How does it work?

All you have to do is invite a group of friends or family to join you online with a cup of tea and a piece of cake at a time and date of your choice. We will be using a virtual eventing platform which means that CLEFT can set it all up for you so you don’t have to worry about the technical side of it at all. Donations and/or tickets can be taken either before the event or during the event by credit card online – again, you don’t have to worry about collecting money yourself.

We will then send you a link for you to pass to your friends and family - you can send this by email, text or whatsapp. On the day of your coffee morning, we will be there at the start, just to check that it is all working well. The participants will need to click on the link they were sent and can join on their phone, tablet or PC.

If you would like more information about this or if you would like to set up a coffee morning, please contact the CLEFT office. We would be very happy to send your participants some recipe cards, leaflets, postcards, balloons and stickers if they would like to receive them for the event.
