I am running and fund raising for CLEFT because I wanted to support a charity I had a connection with. My nephew, Francis, was born with a cleft palate. His parents - Anna and Evan - have been keen supporters of cleft palate charities from here in the USA to send the surgeon that works with their son on his surgeries needed to then be able to go overseas with a charity to do surgeries. Charities like CLEFT help children who would otherwise not be able to have surgery get the help they need.
