I’m Aimee.

In work I’m a Clinical Psychologist in The Welsh Centre for Cleft Lip and Palate, supporting children and families. At home, I’m a busy mum of three. Somewhere in between all this, I’ve discovered something just for me- watercolour painting.

What started as a small moment of calm with a watercolour set has become a lovely way to pause, breathe, and unwind. I’m very much an amateur artist, but I’ve fallen in love with the simple joy of creating something by hand to send a little happiness out into the world.

That’s how Cards for CLEFT was born.

Each card is lovingly hand-painted and made with care. If you choose to request one, I ask for a suggested donation. A small part helps cover the cost of materials (around 50p–£1 per card), with the remaining funds going towards a cause very close to my heart.

Every donation supports the Cleft Charity’s Welsh–Tanzanian partnership project, helping to improve care and outcomes for children and families affected by cleft lip and palate in both Wales and Tanzania.

So when you send a card, you’re not just sharing a thoughtful, handmade message... you’re also helping make a meaningful difference to families across the world.

Thank you for supporting this little idea that means a lot 💛
