My family and I are hiking the Route 040 in May, which involves ascending to the summit of Mount Teide 🏔️, the highest volcano in Spain, rising from sea level 🏖️to 3,718 meters (approx. 12,200 ft) in a day! That’s a massive climb with significant altitude gain, requiring endurance and determination.

We are doing it to raise funds for CLEFT: Bridging the Gap, that supports cleft lip and palate treatments and care in lower- and middle-income countries around the world, and research to better understand cleft and how to improve treatment.
