From May 1st to May 31st, 2024, students all across Europe are encouraged to get moving while spreading the word about our cause. Using platforms like Strava, students can track their distances and feel connected as they work towards a common goal.

Joshua Kennedy, a valued member of the CLEFT trainee section and EDSA Vice President of Public Relations, shared his story in the recent EDSA Spring magazine: "I ran the Berlin Marathon in September 2023 to raise funds for CLEFT. The support I received was immense, and I felt proud to contribute to something bigger than myself. I encourage all students to get involved where possible."

This partnership between EDSA and CLEFT offers dental students a special chance to do good, connect with others, and make a real difference. 'Miles for Smiles' isn't just about physical activity; it's about spreading awareness of CLEFT and coming together to support multidisciplinary cleft care, a cause both organisations truly believe in. By getting involved, students can not only raise funds via sponsorship, but also build a community dedicated to improving cleft care.
