I am taking part in this fundraising event to raise money for a charity which I feel really supports the cleft community at home and abroad. Its aim is to take a multidisciplinary approach to supporting the introduction & development of overseas local multidisciplinary cleft teams in middle and low income countries to provide support for cleft patients where it is desperately required. The money donated also supports cleft related research of benefit to the whole cleft community. Read more

Ben, a very brave man, died recently. His parents, who are friends of CLEFT chair, Brian and his wife Gwyneth, asked for donations at the funeral to be given to CLEFT. This resulted in £460 being donated to CLEFT. Ben and his brother Tobin were born with a genetically recessive condition which resulted in progressive neurological deterioration.
