The Royal Parks Half Marathon was cancelled last year because of the COVID-19 pandemic but it finally took place this October and it was with much excitement that our team of 11 runners took their places at the start line. The weather conditions were perfect for running and the Royal Parks of London provided a fantastic backdrop to the race. The support was phenomenal and friends and family members lined the streets clapping the runners on.

There were a few runners battling knee injuries but all 11 managed to get round and did themselves proud. Martin managed a personal best and Harriet came 400th out of all the female runners (approximately 8 thousand took part) completing it in just 1 hour 50 minutes. Amazing successes!

To Tracy, Charlotte, Frankie, Harriet, Paul, David, Simon, Martin, Alison, Kaye and Dayalan: thank you for taking part, supporting CLEFT and for fundraising. You are all superstars!

Below are some photos of the CLEFT team.
